Finally a week of relaxation. Well, I actually had two because I spent most of my day time sleeping this week, thanks to germs, virus, bacteria what nots.
Whatever it is, my blog is going to be D-E-A-D for 7 whole days.
So leave me sweet 'I miss you messages' in my cbox okay.
I promise I will blog about my First Vacation in the United States when I get back.
I am leaving for Washington DC in less than 11 hours.

So yeah, I thought I sleeping through the entire weekend will help.
I skipped my dance class on Monday and decided to go for work during noon so that I have more rest. Unfortunately, I arrived at work feeling like a zombie.
I slept at the couches outside the lobby of the
How cool is that?
Then, I decided to go to the
I spent an entire 2 and a half hours waiting and running from the nurse to the doctor to the lab and etc. to check whether I have a contagious flu virus.
And mind you, flu here ain't like flu in
Flu here is Fatal. People practically die of Flu here, although it doesn't happen as often anymore.
So I got my tongue swapped with a super long cotton bud looking thing which made me gag and cough right into the nurse's face. I coughed and coughed till I cried until my mascara smeared.
Then, I got my nose swapped with a violent looking wire thing.
Doctor: ok, this is not going to hurt but it is going to annoy you. It might make you cry
I thought to myself: Hah! I already went through that crying thing an hour ago when they swapped the back of my tongue, how bad can this be?
Thankfully it ain't that bad. Just imagine someone sticking something sharp DEEP into your nostril. As deep as the bottom of your eye.
Ain't that bad right?
After about 45minutes of waiting, the results came out Flu Negative.
Anyway, enough about these nonsense.
Getting sick during the winter is just so annoying.
You can’t even step out the house because once you do, your lung will hurt so bad because the air is so cold and dry.
I'm so annoyed right now. I slept till I can't sleep anymore. I am going to my Dance Midterm and Work later and if my body fails me again.... I'm gonna seriously cry.
On the other hand,
I don't know what am I but I think that I am bird inspired.
Camile being Cleopatra
Topher the Drag Queen
Leigh being Miss Authentic
Matt Mr Sunshine
Denise the Zombie
Me..... I still don't know what am I.....

Dad, you are someone who I look up to,
Cause you've been there since my very first day,
My very first cry, my very first word, my very first everything.
I love you dad, for looking out for me,
Making sure I get good grades, making sure my skirt ain't too short.
Daddy, how I wish you were here now in US with me,
So I can give you a big bear hug, and show you how 'kampung' this place is
I pray God will grant you all your heart's wishes,
your health, dreams, wisdom, wealth, everything that you need right now.
So while Lynn and I are here in the States,
make sure you 'sayang' mummy and continue to give her lots of love
(although I know you guys are back to the courting mode since we came over)
I love you daddy!
*big bear hug*

That its time to be aware,
Its a small world after all...
I watched King and I The Musical in Istana Budaya back in Malaysia last year before I came over here. And guess who I met today?
I met the lead actress, whose Boyfriend is my senior.
We had an audition class today.
So basically we came into class for an audition.
The musical that we were auditioning for was Fiddler on the roof
So I went in there, sang my audition song and etc.
Then I over heard my classmates saying that she was on National Tour for King and I and she went to Asia.
I was like.... *heh?! But I just watched it before I came over here?!*
I went to her after class and she was like,
"hey, I was looking at your resume and I was like.... Hey!! I performed here in Esplanade and Istana Budaya"
Then I said, "I WAS THERE!! I WATCHED YOU PERFORM!! all the other side of the globe!!"
then we got all excited... hehe...
~muka gila sampat sebelum audition~
WE"RE HAVING A LUNAR ECLIPSE right NOW!!!!
This very second!!!
A dancer's foot.
I swear I had at least THREE Blisters in each foot after Jazz Bootcamp.
*I'm lovin' Jazz Dance!!*
Heck, I'm not even a dance major. I wonder how their feet are...

friends, mahjong, karaoke, red packets and a dog
The girls selecting songs from a biggass song book.
Jia Jun, Kenneth and I.
Check out our lil REDBOX behind us..
*seriously, I think I needa buck up on my Mandarin.
6 years of Mandarin in Elementary school for God's sake and I even forgotten how to write my middle name. Pretty embarrassing, I know.
Thats why I think we can learn Mandarin from singing Karaoke because the accompaniment for English songs usually sucks OR we only have super old school oldies.
Nacho the lil Black hyper dog.
Really reminded me of my darling white Lucky boy back home.
I wonder how is he doing.
Yih Wen and Jeong Jeong snuggling Nacho
From top left: Soon Han, Wei Ling
Bottom left: Lynn, Bobo's cousin, Bobo and Jojo
*all looking red and happy from beer and Karaoke*
~truly a Malaysian event~
Wahlau... My face is so darn round.
Makes me feel like a loaf of Multi Grain Bread myself because its round with gross blackheads (this is when multi grain comes in)
It was really sweet of them to give us red packets. It was the closest we could get.
Well, at least we have Poker Chocolate Coin.
Thanks you guys! we really did have an AWESOME time!!
And this is what I do when I am bored.
And will someone PLEASE TEACH me Photoshop!?!

Our professor started out the class with drawing a volunteer's face and taught us how highlight and shadow can change the features of a person then we had our own time to play with all the powdered and creme colors AND watercolors on our faces.
Too bad it make up classes are only 50 minutes.
Since I am the only Asian in the Program I decided that I want to do a Geisha face because it will definitely suit me but then my course mate sitting next to me jumped into the idea so I didn't wanna do the same thing as her.
I took up my eyebrow pencil and started drawing on my face and then colored it with blue, gold and silver lining.
Turned out pretty cool.
This is Matt. He looks EXTREMELY like Josh Groban only he is much thinner.
Bet ya'll can't see through his thick make up.
Leigh and I
See my gold nose.
I got done with one side of my face and then decided I wanted to do an opposite color on the other side so I colored it red at the last 3 minutes in class
Its like face painting!!! Awesome!!!
Lynn asked: "So what are you in this make up?"
Yenn: "Seriously I don't know... LoL"
Lynn: "you Look like some weird super hero"
Yenn: "So... I guess I am super hero inspired??!?"
*seriously... I don't know. All I know was I wanted to be a geisha*
Then again, Geishas are boring, you wouldn't get to play with colors and you only get to paint your face white. So I am happy being a weird Devilish looking super hero.
On the other hand,
I don't know whether were you guys aware about it or not.
Two days ago, there was a shooting rampage in Northern Illinois University.
A Sociology Graduate student stormed into a random Geography can and shot random people.
7 are now officially dead, and more than 13 others injured and some in ICU.
To read about it *click*
It kinda sucks to know that these kinda stupid things happen for such a random reason. I mean, just because some people treat you badly or might have offended you, doesn't mean you have the right to take it on others.
Virginia Tech happened only so recently and now its Northern Illinois.
GOSH!!! What on EARTH is HAPPENING to the WORLD MAN!!?!!?!?!
For your information, Illinois is where Chicago is.
And Chicago is only 2 and a half hours away from where I am right this minute.
Its so SO creepy.
Yesterday my professor kinda canceled class to talk about this because my classmate was so freaked out my the incident. She cried.
In fact, one of the people who died was actually her friend's friend.
And other person who got shot was actually my friend's friend's sister.
Its so freaking close to us right now.
God Help Us...... our world is going CRAZZY

Dad has been working in Bata (yes the shoe company) for 25 years and few years ago he was promoted to the Chief Financial Officer Position.
*I'm so proud of you daddy*
For those ignorant Malaysians out there who always think that Bata is Buy And Throw Away and is a Malaysian company please open your eyes widely and read this.
Bata is named after Tomáš Baťa.
Just because its name is B-A BA, T-A TA, doesn't mean its a Malay company or whatsoever.
Bata Shoes (in Czech Baťa, also Baťovy závody) is a large, family owned shoe company.
It is currently headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, and operates 4 business units worldwide – Bata Europe, Bata Asia Pacific-Africa, Bata Latin America and Bata North America. It has retail presence in over 50 countries, production facilities in 26 countries. In its history the company has sold 14 billion pairs of shoes.
It is pretty big in Europe!
In fact, Lynn and my mum each owe a pair of Stilettos that were imported and made in Italy which are super comfortable and gorgeously classy.
*yeah, and the original price for it was Rm400 too*
*click to read the entire article*
I love you dad and mom!!!
Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

I wanna kill em
I wanna kill em
I wanna Kill Em Blood-Sucking Annoying lil Pests
I wanna Kill Em Infectious Ill-Breeding Joit head
I wanna Kill Em Puny Clapper-Clawed Horn Beast
I wanna Kill Em Venomed Rude-Growing Canker-Blossom
I WANNA KILL EM BED BUGS!!!!!
WHAT ARE BED BUGS?
What are Bed Bugs?
Bed bugs are small wingless insects that feed solely upon the blood of warm-blooded animals. Bed bugs and their relatives have evolved as nest parasites. Certain kinds inhabit bird nests and bat roosts and await the return of their hosts; others have adapted well to living in the ‘nests’ (homes) of people. Hatchling bed bugs are about the size of a poppy seed, and adults are about 1/4 of an inch in length. Looking from above they are an oval in shape, but are flattened from top to bottom when viewing them from the side. Their color ranges from nearly white (just after molting) or a light tan to a deep brown or burnt orange. The host’s blood may appear as a dark red or black mass within the bug’s body. Because they never develop wings, bed bugs cannot fly. When disturbed, bed bugs actively seek shelter in dark cracks and crevices.
Bed Bugs seek out people and animals, generally at night while they're asleep, and painlessly sip a few drops of blood. Bed Bugs prefer the dark. While feeding, they inject a tiny amount of their saliva into the skin. Repeated exposures to bed bug bites during a period of several weeks or more causes people to become sensitized to the saliva of these bugs; additional bites may then result in mild to intense allergic responses. The skin lesion produced by the bite of a Bed Bug resembles those caused by many other kinds of blood feeding insects, such as mosquitoes and fleas.
Bed bugs aren't new to me. I've got bitten by them even before this semester started.
Then I started wearing long Pajama Pants and long sweaters to stop em from biting.
I even freaking tucked my pants into my socks to prevent those Hugger-Muggers from climbing up to my juicy thighs to suck my precious blood.
I tried wearing gloves so that they wouldn't attack my poor wrists that looked raw from endless unconscious midnight scratching.
My neck has bite on them that I think if I scratched harder, they would look like plume-plucked Love bites.
AND today while I was taking off my sheets to wash, I found em Loggerheaded bed bugs nest.
My freaking room is now contaminated that I don't even know where am I going to sleep!
Lynn caught em Ill-nurtured little creatures and left them out at the balcony to freeze their asses off.
We even left our bedroom window widely open so that whatever is left in our room would be frozen.
Die you bed bugs Die!!
Or in this case, Freeze you Bed bugs, Freeze to death!!
Freeze your Gore-bellied Fly-Bitten Guts Gripping Maggot Pie!!
On the other hand,
How you like my Cursing?
I learned em from Shakespeare Class and my professor gave each of us a list entitled....
The Shakespearean Insult Kit.
I'm putting it into good use now.
And definitely it is LESS Vulgar from those other word people use and think their cool using it.
Even better, some of these insult words actually sounded cute to me.

well, they always say friends are non related family members right?
Something which I totally agree with because we are so blessed to know so many awesome people here
(who are apparently from Malaysia.... lol)
and not forgetting my darling big sister's birthday....... *heart u*
Highlight of the night
Homemade Yee Sang.
Ingredients: Tonnes of Raw Salmon, Pan Fried Noodles, Crackers, Carrots, Pomelo Drops, Sweet Sauce, and Lemon.
The fact that we have NO Yee Sang here in US, our homemade Yee Sang turned out VERY well and we finished every single bit of it. :)
Wishing everyone all the best in studies, life, health, and yes Chinese New Year is all about wealth.
*too bad for me, there were no Red Packets at all because everyone is Single*
The Crackers for Yee Sang
Pomelo Drops and Lynn
Our very first Steamed Fish in 5 months
I can officially be hired to work a a chef in a Japanese restaurant for having the skill of slicing the Salmon. :) I swear, I could finish the whole slab of raw fish myself.
The amount of Food we had for Chinese New Year eve's Dinner
Blanched Vegetables all in a row
Char Siew and Duck
Greens with mushrooms

Gave her a chocolate cake at the strike of midnight
with cheapo candles that melted even before the cake was given to her
the Star of the night
with the typical childish Malaysian Practice of Smearing cake on the Birthday Girl's face
Although I did not receive any Red Packets this year, I kinda enjoyed my first day of Chinese New Year here in lil ol Kampung Kalamazoo because I have such awesome friends.
Since I have started working in the cafeteria, I have met many great friends and we usually hang out there in between classes and when we have nothing to do. I kinda explained to them the traditions of Chinese New Year. (well not really)
I only told them about the Ang Pau (red packet) part. And most of their reactions were:
*Owh!! so its like Christmas just that you get cash?! cool!*
Happy Chinese New Year to all!!!!!!!
*hugs and kisses*
Back to the Star's Birthday...
We just had a simple meal with our 'family' in an All American Restaurant on her Birthday night itself, nothing much
Well, at least she got herself a glass of Margarita :)
On a random note,
this is important!
This is me now.
By the time I get to 85 years old,
I will look like this.
Note to my future husband:
Sorry my dear, you gotta bear with how I look like when I am 85, unless you die earlier than me..
*slaps my own mouth*
"CHOI!!! I don't want you to die before me! Who is going to plan for my funeral?!?!"
ok, enough of rubbish here. Its Chinese New Year, lets not talk about death and nonsense.
*be sure you are ready to see this picture*
*PG 18 rated*
*you're about to see a monster*
*with wrinkles of course*
For those who wanna know how would they look in 60 years, just come to me, I give Old Age make up and at least you will be ready to know how ugly you will look like when you start to sag. hahhaa....
For those who don't know,
I am currently taking stage make up classes.
We did Old Age make up today in class. Its pretty cool and I love it.
If I was not Musical Theater Major, I would actually venture into Stage Art and Make up.
Those movies that you watch, Star Trek, or whatever movie that has scenes with people with deep cuts and bad bruises are all done by the Make Up designer.
SO SO FREAKING AWESOME!
This apparently is Theater Stage make up so it looks more elaborated when its closed up.
It will look more natural when I am on stage with the theater lights on.
I just can't imagine how a few lines will change your face.
I was only half way done with the make up.
I have not added the forehead and neck wrinkles and yet I look like I am 85 already..
This is my friend Tony Serra.
He is one of my seniors.
Last semester they did a fantasy makeup workshop
(I REGRETTED SO MUCH FOR NOT GOING)
This was one of the pieces instructor did.
He looks like a Blue Version of the HULK to me..
Look how make up can change the structure of your face.
Look at the detail of his lips, nose, cheekbones and eyebrows.
so freaking cool!
The eye bags... OooOoOoOoo.....
I look so horrible.
Of course lah* I purposely pose with my noob face.
Till then readers,
Have an Massive Weekend!!
*for those in Malaysia, make sure you eat tonnes of YeeSang, Seafood, and get all the Red Packets in behalf of me!!*
